The pressure transmitter of the DVD is designed to measure the pressure of the drilling fluid in the injection line or in the casing of oil and gas wells.

The pressure sensor of the DVD is installed in the injection line of the drill in a standard manometer. The tees that are part of the sensor equipment can connect up to two pressure sensors to the pressure gauge in the environment distributor.

The principle of operation of the pressure sensor of the drilling mud DVD is to obtain from the primary converter an electrical signal, which is proportional to the pressure of the drilling mud. A normalizing amplifier generates the value of this signal to the standard range.

The pressure sensor of the drilling mud of the DVD consists of a tensor resistive primary pressure transducer, a normalizing amplifier and equipment for installation. Pressure of the drilling fluid is transmitted to a strain-electric converter through a medium distributor, filled with oil.

All components of the sensor are made of stainless steel.

In order to reduce the impact of the vibration of the injection line, the normalizing amplifier is made in a separate housing and connected to the sensor through a cable with a splice connection.
