The DTR sensor is designed to measure the temperature of the drilling mud, both in open fender systems and in closed ones. The key advantage of this type is the ability to extend the case.
The DTR sensor is used in two embodiments: execution 1 - for installation in the open or closed section of the outlet pipe (gutter), execution 2 - with the extension of the housing and equipment for installation in the receptacle.
The principle of the sensor is to obtain an electrical signal proportional to the temperature of the solution from the semiconductor converter and to bring the output signal to the standard range of values by the normalizing amplifier.
The DTR temperature sensor consists of a semiconductor temperature converter and a normalizing amplifier, which are installed in a stainless steel housing. The semiconductor converter is located in the middle of the tip with a heat-insulating gasket to reduce the effect of the heat capacity of the housing on the measurement results. In the working position, the tip is immersed in a drilling mud.
