Degaser float DP-1

The float degasser DP-1 is designed for the continuous selection of free gas from the part of the flow of drilling mud at the outlet from the well.

The principle of operation of a float degasser DP-1 is based on the separation of gas bubbles from the surface layers of the drilling mud and the separation of the gas-air mixture formed by the pump of the gas-air mixture transport system.

The geometric characteristics of the degasser provide its buoyancy in drilling solutions of different densities. In the case of a degasser there is a hole for connecting a gas chamber to the atmosphere necessary for pressure alignment outside and in the middle of the chamber. To improve the conditions for the separation of gas from the solution, the degasser is equipped with a plate-shaped dissipation in the form of a comb mounted in the middle of the housing perpendicular to the flow of the stream.
